We had such a wonderful time at your guesthouse. We really appreciate your love, kindness and you welcoming us. We honest didn't feel like we were at a guesthouse, we felt more at home and happy. Your place is very neat, warm, comfortable and has everything that one would need. We were traveling the garden route in July and found the Brown Jug the perfect stay! The guest house was basically right around the corner from the old harbor area, restaurants and of course the whales! Louise was most helpful and it was a great stay on our route.

We have found the Brown Jug more that just a place to over night. The family and myself spent a period of 5 nights there and it was found to be beyond what we expected and experienced before. It was well maintained, well priced and made us feel at home away from home. with everything you could want in a home is all rolled up into their room which were spacious and creatively decorated. We will be back there again soon

Spent 4 wonderful days at this hospitable home from home hidden gem with many pleasant surprises! Cosy, warm ambience with quality bed linen; separate lounge, kitchen fully equipped to prepare a gourmet meal or better still take an easy walk to the beach and restaurants - never have to worry about drinking and driving..... such a plus!!!! We strongly recommend this reasonably priced accommodation and will most definitely be visiting again, Thanks Louise and Abel!!

Had a lovely weekend at Brown Jug Guest House. Unit 1 is beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. Service was excellent and best of all its in walking distance from the Marine Square. Will recommend this place anytime. definitely one for the books!

Very friendly & helpful hosts. Incredible accommodation, large lounge/dining room + TV, fully fitted kitchen, huge bedroom with bath & walk in shower, own garden patio. 3 min walk from whale coast & all shops/restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately we only spent one night at the Brown Jug, we were passing through on our way to Cape Town on hindsite we would have loved to spend our Cape Town week with them. Louise & her husband were fantastic hosts. Their breakfast was better than we had in 5 Star accommodation in Plettenberbay. A home from home. Can definately recommend.

We cannot praise The Brown Jug highly enough. Beautifully appointed, wonderfully comfortable, lovely toiletries provided and absolutely everything that one could wish for in a self-catering unit!! We were made so welcome by Louise and Abel and the house is very convenient for walking into town and sampling one of the many great restaurants. .

Had a lovely stay at Brown Jug this weekend. Our flatlet was fully equipped with everything we possibly could have needed, so warm and cozy in the winter as well. We were able to walk down to the sea and the shops because of it's great location. Would recommend them any day! .

Abel and Louise are most hospitable and helpful. Travelling solo after family returned to Australia from Cape Town (my Garden Route golfing experience), the Jug provided me with a central, comfortable place to stay, at a most reasonable price. Left my jacket there, which Louise arranged to forward on (thanks Louise!). I would recommend it to anyone, can't go wrong. .
